She's a beauty!
Ah yes, I'm reminded of the feeling I got the first time I raised the mast of the Lollipop (in my driveway). I did a solo heave ho.... what a rush! Then promptly cracked open a beer, turned up the radio a bit and just sat in her for about half an hour or so with a big goofy grin on my mug. Now that's what I call dry sailing. I still like to do it once in a while. For some reason, it feels a little silly in the Daysailer, not enough height and girth. Dang, I love my boats.
Congrats!!

A sailor's delight, to be sure, the first time the mast is raised. I got a similar delight a few weeks ago when I finally found the mast and other parts I needed for my hull. What a thrill it was to see the mast rocking in the wind for the first time. Even though it was strapped to the top of my truck rolling down I 75 at 75 mph instead of under sail atop Queen Anne's Revenge at a few knots the exhilaration of things to come was liberating. I wish you happy sailing come May and hope your maiden voyage is all you wish for and more. Be sure to take plenty of pictures for your memories of that glorious day.

Just yanking your chain about the Poli Glow. It's just that I have the same colored hull and I've seen the very dramatic difference that it makes. Have I told you guys the secret I found out about Poli Glow? As it turns out, it's actually a common household item that you can get for less than $25.00 a gallon instead of $70.00 a pint with a little applicator. I just put it on my boat a few weeks ago and the results were identical. Anyone want to know what it is?

.... My first car was a $100 maroon '67 Buick LaSabre that used to oxidize to a light lavender...LMAO! I used to wipe her down with 10W40 weekly...could it be....no, never mind, oil's to expensive now! ... and not much of a cleaner either...
