Chrysler 22 for sale in SC, again

Post by N41EF »

The C22 in Spartenburg is back for sale again. I'm guess the payment didn't work out. Angelboatministries is a non-profit that I've delt with, but they don't joke around about buyers making payments.

I'm close enough if someone needs me to help in picking it up.

Please someone buy it, before I have to.

The second time the boat was listed the item description stated there was a "dent" in the hull, no other dent specifics as to size, location, severity, photos, etc. There was no such description in the first auction so I'm guessing the winning bidder cancelled the deal due to non-disclosure of damage. The second auction did mention the presence of a boom on the second auction though. I've seen alot of dented sheet metal in my day but wary as to the term "dented fiberglass" or "dent in hull" without a thorough inspection. The damage may have been very minor, simply cosmetic, or caused from trailer bunk misplacement, I don't know, but my fiberglass skills are crude at best so I was scared of her. It was still pleasant to see a Chrysler in this neck of the woods though. Interestingly enough, the selling price on the second auction (3 days) was around $500 higher than the first (a full week) with livelier bidding, if I remember correctly. Here's to hoping the new owner finds this forum.
