Manson Supreme Anchor

Post by bearley »

My C-26 doesn't have an anchor well. Where is the next best place to store an anchor? The PO had the anchor rode go through a little pop top cap in the deck, down into the forward berth, where it got rolled up on a hose reel. Am I missing something? Who wants a wet, dripping mass sitting on the berth cushions? Someone please explain.

BTW (thanks to the lazy ancient mariner who renamed "rope" by changing one letter!)

Thanks,
Bob

Thanks Bob, your boat looks like mine. But you don't have the extension on the bow, you have the hand rail. But not the extension, with the roller on the end, my Danforth fits on it, it is nice the have. I sit on mine when sailing, an siting up roller furling. You have bunks, not rollers, must be hard to get it off an on the trailer.

I like that anchor. It looks like it would dig into the deep southern silt quite well.

What size is that Manson? It looks like the max size that will fit in our anchor well.

This anchor resets within its length no matter how many degrees the wind or current shifts.
