Hi folks.
I intend on checking the swing keel pin on my "new to me" C-26. Any advice? What is the housing faired with? Putty, fibreglass? Is the pin stainless, will I have a hassle getting it out? Any advice will be welcomed. I plan on changing the cable at the same time. Dimensions of the shackle would be helpful.
Thanks in advance, Eric in Sioux Falls

Click on "how to" on the left, and you'll see a couple of good articles called "Fabrication and Replacement of the Chrysler 26 Swing-Keel Bracket" and "How to Repair Your Swing Keel Cable".
Step 4 of the latter lists the parts you'll need to make the cable.
