Nothing but the painting to do now. Believe me, squeezing my 250 LB. carcass under that trailer in 90 degree heat for four days to to an upside down epoxy keel repair sucked all the joy out of sailboat ownership (temporarily, of course )
As I prep for painting, all I can think about was the time as a 18 year old kid I had worked my #$% off for a week sculpting a '72 Monte Carlo rear quarter panel out of Great Stuff and Bondo. Dang, I loved that car, she was a destined to be a bonafide head turner! On the way back from getting a $49.99 Earl Scheib paint job someone tapped me in the rear at a stop light and the whole quarter panel dropped onto the ground...in one big piece! Of course, I've learned a lot since then...no foam or Bondo....West System all the way, and done right so that could never, EVER happen again
OK, break times over, time to Scheib ..er...paint my keel.

BTW, Keep a look out for a very cheap C20 on CL, if you see it's from Ray Twp, the unthinkable happened.....again!
