T-Shirts any interest?

Post by CaptainScott »

Hey all,
I'm wondering if there is any interest in T-Shirts!

These would be same as last time! FYI I currently have designs made for the C26 and C22. I will be making a C20 soon. Others depending on interest.

This is not a commitment to buy nor a commitment to make the shirts,
I'm just testing the waters to see if there is enough interest . . . .

The poll will be active for two weeks and I will provide the results!

Scott

PS the last shirts looked like this:

Last time the T-shirts were posted I missed out. So if you make them up again put me down for 2 C 26s and 2 C 20s.

Oh man! I totally missed the 27 when puting the pole together! Now I can not modify it!

Sorry about that!
There is a nice drawing of the 27 on the second page of the manual!
So, if we do a run, Spose I could work that photo for the shirt . . .

Scott,

You needed a # of shirts as well as the type, I voted but will take 3, not just the one the vote indicated.

Cool, no worries, I'll be setting up another post for orders, this one is simply to see if there is interest and what there is interest in.

This post/poll is up for a couple of weeks from original post date. After that I will move forward with getting the designs together and then orders!

What I can only vote once. :D If it was Russia we could vote lots of times.

Oh my bad!

Okay I'm thinking 1 C22, 1 C26 and 1 C27 this time around. Chrysler sailboats are like potato chips. You can't eat just one. Well I'm thinking you can't own just one in you lifetime. Am I right Chrysler20%26, CaptainScott. Can I get an A-men.

Thanks
Alan

I voted, but the Man-o-War is listed as C13 MOW in the poll instead of C15 MOW.

Yes, I discovered that mistake also and can not fix the poll so it will stay for the poll but I will fix it before any orders are made. Thanks for the heads up though!

Captian Scott, I apologize for going off topic. Alan mentioned potato chips and Chrysler boats and it jogged a memory. You purchased a C-20 a while back and once had it included in your signature. Wha happened? Still a WIP?, did you sell it?...or...um... perhaps turn it into a ...( I just can't say it, LOL)

No worries,
Long story made short, she has been sold to a friend of mine.

Long version:
I was on a conference call at work that was going no where. Conversation turned to sailing. Eventually it came to me and questions were asked about the boats I have. So, I shared before and after photos of boats I've worked on. You know me, I love to share this stuff! LOL! Then the question was what am I currently working on and what has been done. well, Chance, the C20 came up and photos shared. One of the guys on the call expressed interest so we sent some PM's back and forth. He came out and checked her out, we ran the motor, an crawled all over her. He left for vaca then came back, contacted me and asked to see pictures of her with the mast up, instead, I offered come over and we'll step the mast and raise the sails in my driveway. He did, we did, and sat aboard sailing her full sail for about 45 minutes on the trailer in my driveway. A price was tendered and accepted. Two days later I took photos of her behind my friends truck going down my street!

She has alread hit the water and gone sailing! She has a good home however I never cleaned her up like I wanted to. I polished the boot strip on starboard side and gave the top a good washing and that is it.

My bride is happier to have the parking spot back since I will need to put Lady Jo there this winter.

I'd be interested in a few shirts for captain and crew. When I joined this forum, t-shirt orders had already been taken and shipped out. I've been waiting patiently for new shirts to come out so I was very happy to see this post.

Will order 2 for C-22. How about some polo shirts with a couple of buttons? So I can look cool at the party!

LOL!
Well, our ability to make shirts is reasonably limited to T's for now!

FYI, given the interest it appears we will be making shirts. I will wait for this poll to end and maybe a couple of days so it floats down in the forum topics.

Then I will be working with my wife (T's) and some graphics and likely start taking orders then!

 We like the shirts we got earlier. This time my wish list would be for 100% cotton. Willing to pay extra and would order four.

Why not both long & short sleeves? The admiral would like long sleeves while I, the lowly captain would like short. Polos would also get my vote.
