looking for a place to buy rope online

Post by snowbordlb »

Hope everyone made it through the storm.
Any recommendations for places to buy rope? I live in Charleston so I have a west marine but I have found some 5/16 with a 3800 lb tensile strength on ebay for around 40 cents a foot. Anyone know about other distributers?

I purchased lines and other items from http://www.defender.com/. Their prices are reasonable, although shipping seems a bit slower that other online retailers I dealt with.

Check out, http://www.onlineropestore.com/
I have never ordered from them but the prices look good.
Depending on how long of rope you need, the spool ends that are sold on eBay can be so good deals.

I hesitated to jump in because I work here and we don't carry nautical ropes in stock, but can special order and drop ship.

www.ropeandrescue.com or call 800.989.4003 and ask for Scott
