New c22 owner

Post by Smellysocks »

Greetings,
Dragged home a 77 c22 a few weeks ago to it's new home on Kootenay lake.
Seemed to be a few available within a days drive and ended up buying one a couple of valleys over.
Boat is pretty clean and complete considering it been sitting on it's trailer for 7 years.
After cleaning and inventory only missing a few items, all minor.
A batten, winch handle, and blocks for the headsail (previous owner ran lines directly to winch).
Sure is a unique looking boat and I got lots of compliments and questions about it.
Chrysler they make sailboats?
I'll posts pics as soon as I can make my photobucket account work again.[imgImage[/img][imgImage[/img]

Welcome!

Would that be Kootenay lake in BC
?? Beauty eh! If so we're on your southern sister Lake Pend 'Orielle in northern Id. Bayview...

A great boat for that lake and we would love to sail our C22 up there!!

Looking forward to seeing some picts, we all love them for sure. Good folks here who are quick to answer questions so ask away.

Welcome to the forum there are a lot of good ideas here and I have found that even the most basic questions are welcomed for I've asked them all. Photos are always welcomed, I may live by the sea, but a nice big lake is where I want to sail.

Hello!

You can find the missing stuff pretty easily. I bought new battens at www.defender.com, now, I don't know if they ship to Canada, but it is worth a try.

Good luck!
