What is this?

Post by isuee94 »

We picked up a 1975 Chrysler 22 last night that's in really good shape! Will be doing a formal intro post on that later, but for now...a mystery for you all to help solve.

This item is located on the port cockpit coaming, above the seat/locker. Any ideas what it might be?

Dear issue 94
Congrats on your purchase and hope you Enjoy your Chrysler. I believe that pocket is a receiver for an auto pilot or could be used for a tiller extension to hold a course. The pilot is a most likely answer however. Post pictures of your boat if you get the chance, we all enjoy pictures. I'm trying to get some to post off my dead computer but it's difficult for a Luddite like myself.

Unless there is a power supply plug close by, that is just a tiller extension end holder.
