C26 rigging question

Post by Skipper Dan »

I am going to redo my standing rig this winter. This boat was new to me a couple of years ago and when I set it up I just used what was there. There are some irregularities in the setup. All the chainplates are 5/16". The shackles range from 1/4" to 3/8". I would not think that a 3/8" turnbuckle would go with a 5/16" chainplate. The aft is 1/4" which goes to the 5/16" chainplate. At some time between now and winter if someone could let me know what they have and if it is stock or not. I am going to move the chainplates outboard attached to the outside of the hull and I would like to know which sizes I need. All the turnbuckles except the aft are 3/8". The three aft are 1/4".

any help would be appreciated, Thank You

I would give you the info off mine Skipper Dan, but I can assure you it is NOT stock, as it was rebuilt 15 years ago out of a salvage yard.
Best of luck in finding your information
