Waterflow bow to stern C-26 / T-26

Post by DTeeSail »

T-26 doesn’t have access to much of the stringers area of the hull, except at the forward and aft sections of the boat. If water flows into the the v berth area, would the normal design allow that water to flow all the way to the Stern? Or is each cross-section going to stop the water flow? It would seem the designers would have placed more access covers for inspection of the hall. I might need to cut them in. I can’t even see the bottom of the mast and that is quite an important part.

DTeeSail,
The t26 was made by a different co than Chrysler.
The hull molds are original Chrysler molds but there may be differences in the interior construction. Try looking at all the previous posts by emergency exit, he had several posts dealing with the bilges in his 26.there are some places water can move but the bilges are small and access is limited in a 26. The bottom of the compression post on the 26 is a problem area but it can be easily remedied.
