I went camping and I eyeballed this thing sitting in the back if some dude field. So I went back and asked him if that sailboat was for sale. And he said yes.
Original owner from new. Like WOW
She's been stored indoors every winter expect for last winter
Zero soft spots
2 NEW sails in the bags, Main and Jib
1 old main sail
Main Sail cover in good shape
Bimini over the boom thing
No hazing anywhere on the finish
Mast, Head, Boom, Cleets, Stays and Shrouds, Spreaders,Chain plates all passed inspection
Boat was in great condition and the price was insane so I bought it.
The bad
No cushions, Anchor, Main Sheet, Jib Sheet's, Boom Vang, Winch handle and anything else that wasn't bolted down was gone. The boat is void of anything inside.
Ropes are smoked. Winches x4 are tight.
As of this day I have replaced the Anchor, Sheets and Vang and the winch handle already.
Planning on getting ropes by this weekend.
She's a 79 C22 Sandpiper with pop top and slide away galley.
