Hi everybody

Post by bmwdad »

New member here. I live in Warrenville, Illinois, sail in Lake Michigan out of Chicago, and just became owner of 75 C-22, my first boat. This was also the first boat that I ever sailed on about 20 years ago. The PO was a workmate of mine who retired. I've been sailing with a club, Sail Chicago, for about 7 years. The PO contacted me this fall. He bought a new boat and this one was in storage for 2 years. So he gave it to me. Anyway, I might be contacting you all for some advice once I get through everything I see currently online. He says everything is shipshape, but there is a leak when it rains. Happy sailing everyone.

Like the winds of the sea are the ways of fate,
As we voyage along through life:
'Tis the set of the soul which decides its goal,
And not the calm or the strife.

I wish it would rain, all we get around hear is snow&ice. My C-20 is back home under cover. My C-26 is at the Bay in side, hope to get in "on" the water in the spring.

Ahoy and welcome,

A new 1975 C-22, congratulations. You found the right place for advice and help with your boat. These folks are very helpful and have always pointed me in the right direction.

Welcome aboard, and to the board.

Welcome aboard, and to the board. Chryslers are achieving cult classic status, due largely to the efforts of the folks you'll find here. Whether it's your first boat or simply your most recent, I hope you'll find her as satisfying as we all seem to find ours.
