potable water tank

Greetings! I have a C26 that has a steel water tank beneath the cooler. I have looked for a drain for the tank without success. I pump the tank as nearly dry as possible but the remaining water seems to spoil the new water added before a sail. I'm sure I'm missing something and I hope you can give me some guidance.

John,
I Don’t think your water tank is original. Any tank should have some kind of inspection port and I would expect some kind of drain. You may have to remove the tank to find what you are looking for. You can try putting in a small amount of Clorox bleach then drain the tank. I used to manage a public water system and we used Clorox to disinfect the system if we worked on the pipes. It only takes a little bleach. Hope this helps
