Since I sold my C22 I now have my Hood Drifter for sale.
My dad ordered this sail new for his C22 back in 1978. When he sold his C22 in 1980 (he bought a bigger boat) he kept the sail. It sat in his attic in the sail bag until I bought my C22 four years ago. We pulled it out of the dust covered bag and it still looked new.
He ordered it from Hood sails at that time they called it a drifter now most people call it an asymetrical spinnaker. It is cleated off on the bow cleat and raised with the jib halyard and sailed like a genoa no need for a spinnaker pole and much easier to use and control then a spinnaker.
In the pictures we are in light winds and still moving about 4 knots.
I am asking $400 plus shipping costs. Includes sail in very good condition and the original sail bag in good conditon.
