Practical Sailor

Hey guys just a quick question, if anyone has a back issue of Practical Sailor Volume 25, number 17, september 1999 and could share, i'm interested in the article about the cabin fan test. I would like to do a little research before dropping a bunch on some fans. Any other ideas or thoughts are always appreciated.

I don't have that one, but... I found cabin fans in the auto department at Wallyworld for $11. They're one speed, but oscillate. The oscillation can be turned on or off. Clip mount and also come with permanent mounts.

I thought they were a good alternative to the expensive "marine" units.

Alan, there were only two ways I could think of to create some wind that day, and that was the more socially acceptable of the two..

I'm not to sure how much I like my solor powered cabin fans. There noisy and you cant turn them off when the sun is out. Both covers need replacing and The cost is high. I'm going to try to make teak ones.
