Fun day! not a whole lot of wind in the late morning/noon, but at around 2 the wind picked up really nice. I had the 22 in a close reach at 5.2 knots, I almost had the rail in the water.
Happy to inform that the PVC pipe that I glassed did not LEAK not a single drop, the boat was dry as a bone in the cabin. I detected a couple of little leaks in the fore hatch and in one of the stern rail stanchions, easy fix. The keel brackets did not leak, but there's a small leak around the thing to prevent the keel from banging the hull.
question about the winches. I got two winches (barlows 18) and they both rotate clockwise, now, how do you install the winches in the 22?? By looking at the cam cleats on deck, one should rotate clockwise, and the other one conterclockwise, but I know that's wrong.
