Dock fire in NC

Post by mga1951 »

Hi Everyone,
Just saw this news flash/video on another site.

http://www.witn.com/home/headlines/Fire ... 60089.html

Big dock fire 25 boats destoyed this morning around midnight.
They say its was electrical. I would say to watch your boat heaters if you leave the boat.

Anyone else have any input on heaters, chime in..

I just read a post from the Marina I belong to in NC.
The reason for the fire was Faulty Shore Power Connection.
If you have your Shore power is hooked up, with all this crazy weather, you should check the connections. Maybe check your tilt switch on the boat heater too!
