Spent the (hot) afternoon finishing the first two of four rudder heads for a 22. Figured since I had to make one, I might as well make several. Getting the process down pretty well now.
Next step is to re-glass the rudder... and then sail!
Kitchen rehab, got to keep the first mate happy. Good job EE. Paul working on the boat sometimes is almost as good as sailing. Re-glass rudder...an then sail, Never seen a glassed over sail, keep us posted on that. It was vary hot hear, much better in the water than on it. So no sailing for me eather.
I had to work and then around dusk went out about when I was going to sail a family on a powerboat was in trouble and towed them to the dock and by that time had to put the boat away but helping someone is good karma as I am told.
Yeah, no outing possible here on the 4th, either. Virtually no one uses the lake in Foster City 364 days of the year. On the 4th, they ALL do. Plus kayaks, paddleboards, and whatnot. But the weekend approaches!
