Interesting and tempting. Broken motor, though. I wonder if an outboard would push it. Good candidate for a hybrid repower too.

Yeah, that motor and the distance to Tampa area is about the only thing keeping me from wishing too hard. 9600 pounds quoted as the displacement..

Nice looking boat. the engine problem can be fixed, and might be as easy as bottle of mystery oil or just a ring job.

I have seen many 30' boats with an out board and still think its a much cheaper way to go.

I think a C-30 would make a great liveaboard boat and I would be all over that one if I wasn't already a liveaboard.

Tampa isn't that far away. Look at the map, it's just a little ways. We could always partner on it.

Just bad timing on this one, what with the other project C26 still in the yard..

But I could think of nobody I'd rather to partner with !

30' Chryslers are nice sailboats, but at the end of the day, the logistics of such a project unless it was right on my door step would be to much of a head ache. In my case... one dream at a time. Not truly looking for a long term liveaboard my C26 will suffice. Not to say that dreaming is out of the question it looks like it may go for a sweet price after all.

Looking at the pictures...do you think that Chrysler used the same design for all the main hatches on the larger boats?
Looks like same shape boards and slider that's on my 22

Hatches? You're obsessed. I was looking at the design for the cockpit. Kinda cool how it spread out in the back. More room for motor controls.

$1125, you've got to be kidding me. Got tied up at work or someone would have paid at least 1130 for it.

Wow, that's a lot of boat for just over a grand! I'd be willing to try the live aboard thing for that price. Of coarse, I would have to, because I would no longer be living at my current address.

There are perhaps more of us than who would care to admit... we would be in the same boat so to speak. :( I hope the guy who got it finds our forum.
