Tried to update my avatar image today, and discovered that the size has been reduced....this is really cramping my style... any tips on reducing file size? :(

update: I found many ways to reduce the size, so now I have a problem, my image is 28KB and the size is 200x240 pixels, and I cannot upload it......

Far as I know the maximum size hasn't changed, 200x240 should work fine as far as physical size, but there is a second component of image file size and thats about 101kb, so you may also need to save in another format, or reduce pixel quality a bit..

EDIT - duh, I see your file is already only 88kb so it should upload, and 192x250 according to the properties, which is close to EE's avatar specs

my personal (at present) fav image editing software is GIMP..a freebie.

Hope that helps !

Might be a total limit on storage per member, or something else could be off, I'll talk with Scott and we'll have a look at it..

Thanks EE!

I really look forward to Mariners Avitars! They are pretty cool!
I have not made changes so the problem must be some limit somewhere.

PLEASE make sure mariner can continue the cool pictures he uses!
