Does anyone know/understand the last 4 digits of Chrylser hull numbers ?
I know the CBC denotes a Chrysler boat, the next 5 digits are my hull number, but how about the last 4 that show the date of manufacture. My bill of sale lists my C26 as a 1981 model, but since the last 4 digits are "M79C", I am thinking the 79 means 1979 but don't know about the "M" that precedes it, or the "C" that comes last...
Thanks,
Beau

No problem.
Now would be a good time to admit that the reason I was so quick with an answer is because I was stumped by the same thing when I looked up my boat. M? There is no month for M? How can this be? I think the website could be a little clearer on that as I think the leading M is always there.
But atleast the information is there, even if it does require problem solving to decipher.
