As of Friday I am an owner of a 1979 Chrysler Pirateer. I still claim massive ignorance with small boats, but am learning. When I purchased the boat, I knew she would take a little bit of work. My only major problem at this point is it looks like she came equipped with a Buccaneer Rudder, and not the original. I highly doubt they have the same dimensions
So, I am wondering if anyone out there has another Pirateer and could assist me in the correct dimensions of the rudder so I can make one in accordance to those and/or if anyone knows where I could pick one up at?I did take her on a shake down run for giggles, and it was a pretty wild ride....Can't wait to do this right!
