Ideas needed

Hello, im new here and like the idea of the board. I have 78 Chrysler 26 with a swing keel. We paint the boat with VC 17 every year but cannot paint the keel as the boat is on the trailer. does anybody have any suggestions as to how we can raise the boat to paint the keel without paying someone to put it on a cradle?

One more idea that I could use some opinions and advice on is how to set up a third halyard on the mast. Im looking to fly a chute without the hastle of taking down the jib first.

try this link..not sure if it works as well for tandem axles as singles, but it is a neat animation...

Thanks for the link. Im not sure how well it will work with a Tandem trailer because of the leverage, but I will give it a shot when the snow melts.

Hey, if one removes either the rear or front set of tires on a tandem, then it behaves as a single, and this method would work..might not make the remaining axle or tire happy, but it would only be for a bit while you lift the boat..I wonder.... (I do get in trouble a lot right after I say that, tho...)
