I got the call. Thank you to all of you
I got the call this evening. They accepted my offer (always makes you wonder when they accept your first offer). I will soon be the new owner of a C22. I'm really excited about getting the old girl back where she belongs - on the lake.
I have already learned a tremendous amount by reading all of your collective comments. This forum has been invaluable and I'm sure will continue to be so in the future.
I hope to contribute soon and often.

Welcome to the list of Chrysler owners. Be sure to post some pictures. I know as well as anyone that these thing are meant to be restored
I'm now looking at making a new oak table for mine, along with the nautical star inlaid into it. My father in-law has a project on his hands with this one, he is my woodworker and I want the star to be made from three different kinds of wood

MKB -- that is a cool idea.... I might try something like that in my cabin sole project -- if I do it in real teak holly... although I am leaning towards "plasTeak" right now... heard it does look good..
BTW; I am curious what other boats you shoped / considered, and why you finally settled on the c-22

First of all, the disclaimer: I've owned 19' and 23' power boats, but never sailed, so I know almost nothing about what I'm doing.NYCSAILOR wrote: I am curious what other boats you shoped / considered, and why you finally settled on the c-22
But I wanted a boat small enough to trailer (I like to check out different lakes and keep the boat out of the water) and I wanted a boat big enough to sleep in.
I looked at a MacGregor 21 and then saw the Chrysler, just by accident. This thing impressed me as being a small boat with a lot of space. And being a car guy, & history buff, I think the Chrysler aspect is cool too. And this one was in my price range - around $2000.
