"Wind" is pretty good. Its an instant paly on Net Flix
There was also a movie with Sam Neil and Niocole Kidman, takes place on a boat, wouldn't exactly call it a sailing movie. Can't remeber the name

I think Captain Ron is one of my all time favorites!
However the Pirates of the Caribbean is always wonderful to watch!

Wind is also one of my favorites. And I'll confess I like the Pirates of the Carribean trilogy, it's just plain fun to watch.
And Captain Ron coming into St. Haag, well what else is there to say there.

Capt Ron.
Not just because it is a fun movie to watch, but they also really did a good job in making sure that the sailing terms and techniques were accurate.

Summer Rental....! That was the one I was thinking about, just too damn funny,
I think there was one way back when America's Cup was all the rage and Dennis Conner was a super celebrity, just after ted Turner was winning those races. I think is was a documentary narrated by Walter Cronkite
Is Moby Dick a sailing movie? Mutny on the Bounty?
