OK, Sorry folks,
I'm a day late here! HOpe you had a good LONG weekend!

Safety Tip
Any time you are cruising in new territory, always carry a Coast Pilot or a local cruisers guide with you! Before entering a new marina or harbor, always get the arial view or drawing of the enterance! You never know how it will look from the water! It can be deceiving! See the photo below!
What you are looking at is a water view of The Port of Sidney in BC Canada. This shot was taken from the bow of Destiny! See the enterance?? Yeah, it is even harder in real life watching all the boats coming and going PLUS looking for the enterance!!!

Question for today
Since I'm so late on this one it is an easy one however you WILL pay for it with next weeks question! LOL!

In the same photo above, if you were leaving said marina what side of the boat should the day markers in the photo be kept on?

I always go by the old attage,Red,Right,Returning.

Thefore,It should be on the Port side when Leaving.

The red marker should be on the port side when leaving!!
