Spent the weekend on Destiny! Added Carrier and Sub Photos

Post by CaptainScott »

OK, I just fixed the links! Sorry!!!

We spent this last weekend on Destiny.
We took her down to Port Orchard Washington which is directly across the bay from Bremerton. Nice place.

Much to my surprise, there were 5 Air craft Carriers, several large naval ships I did not recognize, and a ton of smaller boats! Saturday moring we were on the dock yacking with boat neighbors and guess what came in?

A Nuclear subarine! WOW! The seaman lined her decks as she slowly made her way into the barbor!I got many nice shots but I think one if my favorites is a pleasure craft in the forground, the sub in the center, and a carrier in the background!

OMG! FIVE carriers! I knew about the shipyard, and carriers but FIVE? WOW! Thanks to those carriers for makin America a place where I can indeed stand free on a dock next to my boat and enjoy the sun!!!!

I hope to get photos posted in the next day or so.
