I have been doing something just about everday to get my C-22 ready to sail , I thought a major clean up untill the parts boat  which supplied a boom and main sail plus everything including the kitchen sink.

Next hurdle is getting it to the lake, or even on the trailer from the cradle.

But If my luck continues as well as it has, I have a roofing compony next door with a boom truck.

I'm hopeing to impose on a fellow C-22 owner to go sailing this weekend :D He seems to be more then happy to shoe me the ropes literally

This group has been more then helpful with info and insperation.
I also wait to see new post,

I know I'm driving my wife nuts and a few around me with the sail boat antics, like I just won a jib/genoa sail off Ebay for $40 (how can I go wrong?)

The lake I'm planning on re-introducing it to the water is 48,900 acres to play on.

Its already in the 90*s here and a long summer ahead so I'm sure I'll beable to share a few more adventures.

Heres to a good wind at your back and smooth waters.

Hoping to splash our "new" 26 next week. I'll be posting pictures of our trailer mods soon too. I got the telescoping tongue working after 20 years of non-use :-)

Ok just when I thaught everything was smooth sailing (sorry bad pun) the marina that I contacted told me there is a 2 yr waiting list for their slips. :? SAY WHAT?? :x

I was hopeing to use the one closest to me but it looks like it will be where ever one is available

Interesting. Most of the marinas I've checked into have openings. Probably partially due to the bad economy.

next question? How do you store everything on the C-22 that you need for even weekends out? I 'm sure you want to avoid getting it at a race angle if your loaded down with everything, thinking about the fuel and water tank. I'm not sure if mine was used more then day sailing.

pictures would be great
