I worked on the trailer. And will so over the next week, so I can splash next weekend, I think I have it worked out, but would like to talk trailer for some one that could give me some details and picures if possible,
I think I'll have as much time building the trailer as it took to get the boat ready. :?

I still have to cut the post to the contour ove the boat the highest point of the trailer will be 48" to pavement and its a tilt trailer so I hope I can launch it off.

We had a great 4th - Got to the lake around 730, went down the lake and back, had a "hot dogs/ice cream/apple pie" social at the club, but only a couple of us were hardy (dumb) enough to go back out in near 100 heat at noon.

Didn't go down to the south end for the annual boat parade, last 2 years it was just too hot, too crowded, too crazy for that again.

After that we drove into Baton Rouge to do the 4th celebrations there. At 6pm, had an F-15 flyby over the USS Kidd, then at 6pm several AT-6's "attacked" the Kidd a few times with return fire from the Kidd. BOOM!

Went to a hotel to cool off to until the 9pm fireworks, until we noticed the fireworks barge was right outside the 9th floor window. Sat in front of the window, watched the show, and toasted the 4th with cold bubby.

Got a few pics here.

(And to the astute that will notice the outboard still down under sail, when the lake is really crowded on holidays I leave it at the ready in case of emergency.)

I was kicking myself for not having my boat seaworthy enough to sail this weekend.

Had monster winds in northern Wisconsin on Saturday and Sunday.

The only bright spot was that on Monday when I got back home the fiddle block I ordered with on my porch. :D
