I just purchased a 13 ft. Chrysler sailboat. It's open cockpit with 2 sails. It has a dagger board and detachable rudder. If any one can give me the model or other info I would appricaiate it. I am located in Wilmington, NC.
There is no title to the boat and the current owner tells me to register it with the Fish and Game Commission of NC. It has a motor mount and I intend to mount a 9.9 HP Johnson.

Congratulations and welcome to the group ! Your boat may be a C-13 "Pirateer" or an LS-13 "Lone Star", not sure what if any others are 13'...

Check the transom area for a plate with the Hull Identification Number...likely will start with "CBC" as that is the manufacturer ID for "Chrysler". This number will help us tell you Make/Model, Hull Number, and Year of boat.

9.9 horse may be a bit much for the boat..top end rating for my 26' , 5000 pound Sea Pig is 10HP..
