To much of my C-22 was missing when I got it to keep it oem, but everything for the most part is stock if you count that the parts I used came from a Starwind 22. I do plan on making changes when it comes back from the lake that will make it far from oem .

I fix what is broken and go sailing! NO regard as to OEM or not. Just make it work and go play!!!

I love the basic boat, but there's little about the OEM equipment that's inherently worth preserving. Much of it was selected to meet a price point, not because it was the best choice available.

The traveler, rigging, sail tracks, winches, anchor roller, rode locker, hatch sliders/grab rails, settee lockers, electrical system have all been departures from OEM, but all for the better. My next major variance will likely be some decent, opening portlights.

Outside, mostly OEM, original rigging, mast, boom, sails, etc.

Inside, I added an electric panel, GPS Chartplotter, new light 'galley', new florescent lights, etc.

Jeff, are you getting ready for Pirates? I'm almost done installing the tiller pilot!

Yup! I was kinda hoping to get on the road yesterday, but a events conspired and now it will be tomorrow. There are some loose ends at home and at work, but I'm not going to waste my vacation! I'll be there almost two weeks, some of the time with my wife and son, some by myself (which I actually love) and some with a buddy of mine from the lake. If all goes well I'll try to get a 24 hour solo in, which is a required qualifier for some races I'd like to do in the Great Lakes. If not, I'll just have to enjoy myself anyway.

Don't think I'll be able to get the solent stay installed, nor the additional bilge pumps forward, but she's better and safer than last year so that's something.

Go Scott I agree fix what is broke and SAIL. And make it easier to singlehand as most of my sailing is alone.
