My birthday cruse

The wife asked what I wanted to do for my birthday and I said go sailing..lol
Very light wind but I sailed out any ways. the 21' racer motored past and sat past the outlet a few hours while I watched a few other sailboats motored by. I ate, read ,thru a few cast of the fishing rod and tinkerd with the boat. I figure this is what it must be like when your crusing.
The racer has to set in his cock-pit it has no cabin. Just an aft storage compartment. I think he was waiting to see if we would get wind.
I rowed my "life raft" around and explored shore and took pictures.
the racer gave up and motored back to port along with all the other sail boats... I sat and watched the clouds come in...lol I sailed and had a few 3 to 4 knot runs I could have come in sooner but I over tacked a few times
I made it to dinner by 8 hey the party couldn't start with out me 
I think I'm ready to spend a longer time on the boat exproing ...hate it will have to wait till spring, but I have the changing of the leaves starting here so I will be out a few more times before I bring it home.
