I'm losing it. Brain's gone downwind. I would have sworn Leeward Into It was a discussion board member, but I can't search 'er up.

Maybe I'm thinking of a sailnet post, but I remember that he said "Leeward Into It" is pronounced in the ole "loo'ward into it" fashion, and they said they bought the boat because they were "Lured Into It".

Possibly it was a previous owner I'm thinking of.

Anybody else care to join my in this delusion of mine ?

This boat is berthed next to my C26 at Lake Perry and to the best of my knowledge the Allens sold it to a entry sailor like me about three weeks ago. If the deal went south, I will say that this is a good looking and well restored looking ride.

I hope the sale went through, I am hoping for a new-to-boat ownership neighbor to comisterate with

I started the thread, since I saw it was still being advertised and it looked like a real nice, good boat for a starter to jump into... many of the deals on this board are farm yard finds, Craiglists or mostly project boats that maybe more than some people want to deal with... glad to see you have a new neighbor in the fleet and some new sailor got a nice chrysler..

I did confirm with the Allens last night that the boat has indeed been sold and I still have my new neighbor. I think it will be great fun for each of us learning our new boats, and having the other as a resource for lessons learned... I'm looking forward to it.

Well, then let him know about the borg, I mean board. He must be assimilated, I mean, welcomed.
