Nov. Sail mag item on swing keel shape -- Windward !!!

I thought of Windward when I read this article in the current, Nov. 2009, SAIL mag.. ( the one with Crusiing Cuba....)

The guy fabricates a tadpole shaped airfoil for the front of his flat swing board so he can point higher...makes some other swing board mods as well that I thought would give you performance guys some good ideas...

His centerboard/keel was flat though, ours already have a really nice "airfoil" shape to them.

Not being a swing keeler, I didn't know that but I thought the guy's approach and use of materials was interesting and might be useful
