I am going to re-do the cabin of 78 c-26. that includes painiting -- for some reason my interior is a weird almond color....

I will paint it white.... I am wondering of anyone painted their interior, what paint and if they painted the headliner which on my boat is kinda "bumpy" finish..

Been there, done that ! Here's a pic of the paint formula I used for a good match. I don't think the brand has this as a paint color anymore, but the formula is there and should still translate to the right color.

Nice, thanks ...again...

did you roll it on, brush it, roll & tip etc? did you get a nice smooth "gelcoat" finish appearance...

Also, when you redid your sole.... did you epoxy seal/paint your bilge? If so, how did you get down in there...Q-tips..spray?

You're welcome, it took me a while to get a good color match so I sure wanted to save that for the ages...amazing how pinkish/beigeish that really is. I rolled and tipped, it came out good.

I left the bilge as was, but the fiberglass roving was so rough in there, it would have had to be spray I guess. Plus there's just so little room with that keel pocket in there. You'd have a different challenge I suppose, with that full keel bilge.

I did something similar, I got a paint chip selector from sherwin Williams, after I did a visual match on the small chip I ordered large color sheets (8x10) from sherwin Williams for a final match, I'm happy with the result. I would suggest a similar approach to selecting a color, most larger manufacturers will be able to provide you with larger color sheets.
