Where does the mast go?

Right at the front of the cockpit behind the hatch boards. Look at the bottom pic and you can just see the hook

EE is correct about the location of the mast. It is stepped aft of the companionway, on the step. The keel winch is located inside a small compartment in the companionway step. The boat is designed to make single handed sailing very easy. The cabin is small, good only for a place to get out of the weather, or to sleep. However, the cockpit has a built in base for a cockpit table, which also came with the boat.

Yes, the cockpit is huge - 10 feet long. The tradeoff is that the cabin is small, but for sailing the boat should be great. Now, how far away is Spring?

Ha Ha... my sense of humor is in short supply these days... hubby crashed his motorcycle on Sunday ( "just one more ride before winter"). Fractured his patella and messed up his left shoulder. All in all it could have been much worse. All the safety gear worked to protect the important parts. Still its no call any wife ever wants to get.

Fran sorry to hear about the accident. Being a ling time rider I had my spill and can feel for your husband please give him my best.

Best wishes for a speedy from here as well! Had to get the resident RN to explain patella to me... I only ever dropped a bike once - turning right at a yield sign, it slid out from under me on wet pavement. Walked away with no more than a cut upper lip (still have a scar) but I hurt all over for days and days and days. He's got my sympathies.

From a long time daily rider. My biggest fear other than other drivers is the frosty roads we get now days. This next week is to be in the 20's. It'll be nippy but hey, beats driving my truck! LOL!

Your New C-20, it looks new too. Hard to beleve it is 30+ years old. The C-20 is sed to have bilt in flotaion, I have one, an it has no folm flotaion. So I asume the flotaion comes from traped air. Your vary new looking sailboat has a vent at the bow & stern. I never heard of a C-20 sinking, but I would count on the bilt in flotaion.
