We pullled EE today, but she didn't seem to be cooperative. Starter on the outboard was silent when I tried to start her, so I had to hand start it !

Hosed a lot of fresh water algae off the bottom paint, saw a couple spots on the port bow where the gelcoat was iffy, a la popped blisters. I know I haven't ran over anything to scrape it, so looks like I'll be doing the big osmosis check over the weekend.

Hey, the boat simply did not want to get out of the water. It wanted to sailing, not up on the hard. Hope you sort it all out soon and good luck on your winter refit.

Your starter, I bet you steal have the swich the wont let the starter turn when in geer. Remove that swich an by-pass it. Bouth my 280 & 250 have the swich removed. EE is out for the winter?? I should rent your slip, I would be sailing all winter. I took my bout out Nov. 25 th an two weeks later my slip was froze over. I'm with Alan, EE just did not want to be on the hard!!

Oh I have it all right - it's in a box on a shelf in the shop !!! Never could get that thing to adjust right and stay put.

Your starter did not work, why not.

Didn't even look at it to see. Just made sure I was getting power on the downstream side of the start button, and then hand cranked it.
There's only a straight shot from there to the starter so I figured it was time for the rope..

Glad I have a spare though, and Franz may still have a rebuild source.
