I have a 1983 Starwind 19. The front port hatch to the bow has very brittle plastic. The interior frame (In the boat) has broken where the handles used to secure up to. The square plastic box (on the interior part of the window itself) that had recieved the locking handle screws has broken on one side. I would like to repair rather than replace. Any ideas on parts or fixes. I was thinking of trying washers and epoxy to bolster the interior frame. Not sure how or what to attached to the interior side of the hatch window itself that will allow the hatch to be closed and securly tighten.

thanks
