I'm not sure on the VIN but I believe it is on the data plate on the tongue.

For the brake controller it doesn't get any better than the Prodigy. http://www.brakecontroller.com/prodigy1.htm you can find it cheaper, this is the first link I came across. I use this for my C22 and a large camper.

For the break away I used the one in the following link. I bought my contoller and break away from this seller.

My factory trailer has a 5 lug pattern. It is just the standard spacing you can get at Northern Tool.

Do you usually sail on the St. Croix in Hudson?

I think my trailer for the C-20 is the same as yours. VIN is on tongue, if you can not find it. Check with your state, Secretary Of State. Hear in MichIgan, we can just get the traler weight, with out the boat. I got new weales & tires at Discont Tire

Yes, I sail the St Croix, dry dock at the Beach House Marina in Bayport MN. Can't afford the price for a hole in a dock at most marinas on the St Croix.
Busy place on a summer weekend but weekday and off season weekends are more enjoyable.
