AAHH! The blue tarp! Never had much luck with them making it through a winter... I've moved on to the green ones.

Believe it or not the fore tarp is the silver Heavy Duty, but it is blue on the outside so the sun makes it looks blue, the back one is EL Cheapo!
I wanted to see what size worked best so I can buy a good one for next year. Or even better, figure out a way to get it in my barn!

Good work Jay - nice vid! I really like the video because it reminds me so much of what my boat looked like when I first bought it. We did happen to have some great upper 50 degree weather here in Minnesota just after I bought it in November though, which enabled me to give it a rough initial cleaning. Boy that really made a difference. Its power wash time in the spring and then onto larger projects. I'll see if I can video document the work I do.

Well, I've been outta sight on this forum for the last few weeks due to the Minnesota winter. Yes, it's that bad. Call it a forced spiritual and psychological hibernation. We had lows of around -15 degrees for a few week recently. Don't know if many of you know but the winters are long, snowy and usually very cold so I just had to put the boat out of my mind otherwise I'd go nuts - we've got a loooong way to go before I can resume the work on her. It's in the back yard in two feet of snow and probably has that much on top of it too. I can't even get at it!

I do look at her everyday though as I drive off to work...lookin over my shoulder...

J42goose; I don't think it was off topic, Loved it, I just completed a trip (a couple days ago) up to my dad's home located in Roger's City, MI drove along Lake Huron shoreline from AuGres (Home Port) saw the same types of scenery. Day dreaming of summer. Keep them coming.
