Sound signals and day shapes are one of the hardest sections on these types of tests! Don't try and make ryhme or reason out of them. Just memorize them!


According to an instructor I had some folks can ace the sound and struggle with the visual and some folks can ace the visual and struggle with the sound! I find I have a tendency to do better quicker in the visual than the sound! Pretty interesting!

When I admin'd an adult GED course in a computer lab we took a course in learning styles, and I learned that the "learn from the screen" environment didn't work for everyone.

Some people learn better visually, and some audibly, as well as other ways - wonder if a persons learning style translates into the difficulty learning either the sound signals or the visual signals.

Scott I got corrected by one of our guest speakers on the word horn even though it is an air horn he stated it is called whistle ie passing on 1 whistle
