A couple of stock mainsheet questions?

One... how long of a line is needed with the three blocks? Two... I've found loose screws on both of the raised sections on both sides of the main hatch where two of the blocks will be secured. If each raised section like the mast step is mainly wood could I get by with just using longer screws for a tighter hold (I'm sure these are not planned weak points.) This being the case would it be best to drill completely through and use bolts with a backing plate from the inside?

Manuals say 35' for both jib and main sheets. I went with that on EE and found it plenty.
I think I'd go ahead and thru bolt in case there was softness due to the loose screws letting water in the block...

Actually if you can dig that bit of info out of the parts list page, you've done more than read the manual, you've obsessed over it like me !

Ohhh, I totally missed it, but then again I'm slow on puns sometimes. Was once in a study where they gave me 10 puns and I missed them all. Yes, it's true, they expected better results, at least several puns should have gotten thru my thick head, however....no pun in ten did.

oh no Mario when I get into something I am like a Pit Bull for info. you have to excuse me. I feel I have to know everything as I feel I don't know enough. Glad to have you as a 26er, nothing against any other models I am learning some of their build and handling as well.

Ah but if it don't work then you read the instructions then aren't they "corrections"? I read that a while back and I am guilty too of not reading the instructions at times then when I do I feel silly.
