We are up to at least 12 interested persons and probably as many as 10 boats so far. Having heard no disagreement I am setting the dates as May 28/29 thru June 4/5. So let's choose a destination!

I'm not going to vote first, so as not to sway public opinion.

ETA: OK, 17 views and nobody will step up to be the first to vote. I'll do it just to get this ball rolling. My choice was made to be as central to everyone who has expressed an interest so far.

I vote for Cherokee Lake.

My vote goes for Cherokee Lake TN. For me Oriental, NC would indeed be a lot closer, but like Mike said being central is the key. As long as the accommodations are adequate Cherokee Lake, for all concerned I feel will work best in the end. This being said there would be no skin off my nose whichever location is chosen.
