I cannot for the life of me find where i put the OEM drain covers so I started hunting and got new stainless steel tail pipes! vroom ...vroom!

Very classy, those put my $.50 Lowe's plastic drain covers to shame. Very nice.

Very classy! Love it but in my area I have a different reason for my $.50 Lowe's plastic drain covers . . . snakes.

Snakes as a whole have gotten a bad reputation over the years and for those that can really do us harm, perhaps justified. However there are a great many others that are relatively harmless in nature and their coloring quiet beautiful. As a young boy, I and a few friends caught a good number over time and after a while would let them go. Not something to be taken lightly I should add... even something beautiful can be deadly if you don't know the difference.

Very nice, but if you want to close the hole (for snakes or whatever) you might try these, http://www.centekindustries.com/accessories.html, part number 1200134. I've used these in the stern of my C26, cutting off the long pipe, and am attempting to rework the scupper flap to open the other way and use them in the cockpit. I'll let you know how they turn out.

I once watched a muskrat climb in to a "tail pipe of a derelict motor cruiser

Someone sure had a surprise when inspected the engine room.
