Main Hatch Rebuild.

My main hatch is in need of replacing and I'm getting no place trying to buy a replacement, so I wonder if anyone has any experience rebuilding a main hatch?
Any comments or suggestions appreciated.

Hey BC,
This is to another site, the Plastic Classic forum, and an Erickson 27 project where he rebuilt the sliding hatch. You'll need to scroll about 1/3 the way down and further to see it finished. Cool project boat by the way, very similiar to my Catalina project, only his is on the water now

If you go through from page 1 on that link, u can see a huge project unfold. That's really entertaining.
What a beautiful job. Of course he is certifiable for putting that much effort into a San Juan, but then again, they probably say that about us!
