Sunday Sail Video

Hello the Forum!!
Pam & I went out for short "3 hour tour" a week ago,,,
Winds were 5-15 with gusts to 40... We mounted a GoPro camera on a whisker pole just for fun... It tuned out be a distraction as it was always flipping around. It was our first breezy, gusty day this year and we were definitely rusty on our sailing skills
Initially the camera was extended all the way on the pole, then we brought it in half ways, then I wore it on my head... I had to edit a lot to keep the horizon close to upright as the camera rotated 360'.
The video is ~35 mins long. It was a test sail for the pole and thinkin I need to get a fishing rod holder to secure it to... I like the further out look for seeing the lake, boat and horizon. You see the gusts coming also.
Hope you don't get sea sick watching it! The next one should be more stable, but there are some nice parts in the video.
