Oars and oarlocks...

Post by astrorad »

I saw a posting here on the forum about mounting oarlocks on one of the Chrysler daysailors, but cannot find it now...here is an idea that may work...a sculling oar...

I had bought short canoe paddles but that takes at least a crew of two to paddle it away from the dock. I had considered an electric tolling motor for when I can't find anybody to go with me, but your oar find there has me interested.....

I used canoe paddles on my first outing, I got nervous and had to rely on paddle power to get back to the dock. It works well if two people are on board but it will give you a workout.
