My 25' mast on my Lone Star 16 is quite a pain to raise. The deck opening is fairly narrow (a small slot with rounded ends) and will not allow for you to put the mast in at a decent angle. The mast has to be dropped into the slot almost vertical. I don't want to do any drastic modification to the original design but I am looking for ideas and sources for rigging up a tabernacle.

Has anyone out there done a similar modification? By the way, the LS 16 mast is identical to the Buc.
