Hull serial number

Good day, trying to figure out when my boat was made. I thought the HIN was suppose to include info for the date..but it doesn't seem to be the case. Chrysler 22. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

Dumac,
You are right in that you should expect the date to show up on the hin or sn.
If you are in a state that titles boats you should find it on the title or if you can find previous owners they may be able to help you. Sorry I can’t be more help. Let us know if you are able to find out. Good luck.
